As this year comes to a close, we acknowledge the survivors, communities, and partners who stayed engaged and present throughout the work. We pursued accountability, kept justice in public view, and centred survivor voices in litigation, advocacy, and research. This work moved through persistence rather than moments. Pressure was sustained and silence was more often than not challenged. As we step into 2026, we remain focused on accountability through the courts, survivor centred advocacy, research that drives action, and partnerships that strengthen public engagement. Thank you for standing with UTU WETU TRUST as we continue this work into the year ahead.

OUR MISSION
To advance gender equality in Kenya, the larger Africa Region and beyond, especially for women and girls, through leveraging expertise, collective action, employing inclusive, human rights based, intersectional and victim-/survivor-centered approaches, and strengthening the application and implementation of international human rights norms, standards and obligations at the national, regional and international levels.
